Bounce back at Lagoon...

So, the last time we went was on a Sat. and it opened at 10am and closed at 11pm. We got there at 9 am in front of the gates to parking and couldn't understand why no one else was there. After McKy checked the website on his phone we found out that on week-days it's reversed. Opens at 11am and closes at 10pm. Since we were in the motorhome we just played Village, our latest most popular card game til it opened. Misty and I accompanied 6 boys ranging in age from 6 yrs. to 14 1/2. We planned to take the younger 2 with us while McKy and Mason and their 2 friends went off on their own. As it turned out, Mason and Dakota took Marcus with them and McKy and Alec took Merrick on most of the rides. We all got together for some of the rides but Misty and I ended up riding most of the rides by ouselves! Merrick goes on all of the rides and McKy's friend didn't so McKy got preferential treatment on Wicked because he had Merrick with him! Misty and I had a great time hanging out in Laguna Beach water park and on the rides. It's so great when the kids are old enough to take care of themselves. Misty brought lunch fixings and made hot dogs for dinner in the motor home for all of us. I brought some chips, drinks, fruit and cupcakes and it was easy! A motor home is the way to go and Misty drives it with ease! Bounce back was only $11 and was well worth it!

A big thanks to Marcie for getting us discount tickets to Raging waters through her work. It saved us a bundle. Marin, JR, Collin, Jeannine, Whitney, Archie, Misty and her boys (Dan has to work), Garn, Austin, Devan and I will all be there. Austin and Devan have season passes and Garn and I get in on senior discount so it won't be as expensive as I thought. Misty and I will take our motorhomes and will fix lunch and dinner there so it should be fun! Wish Mandy and Jon and the kids could be there. Also Mike and Marcie will be on a couples motorcycle ride and will be out of town. We'll miss them too but it's soo nice that Marcie would get our tickets for us to go!! You're awesome Marcie!! Thanks again!

The Garn Woodall Reunion

This was with Garn's Aunts, Uncles and cousins. We missed Mandy and Marin's families. Marin used to win the coveted quilt at the raffle a lot. She wasn't here this year and Cassandra, Garn's niece came up from BYU since she didn't go home for the summer this year. She won the quilt!! It was made by Robin, Alan's wife, son of Lillis and Earl woodall. It was made from light and dark blue jeans on one side and red, white and blue squares of hearts on the other. It's gorgeous!! She also won a beautiful beach towel. I won a camping package: 2 camp chairs, 2 hot dog double forks, and a soft sided cooler! It was great! Marcie won a soft blanket and massage oil and tools. Marcus won a fleece blanket (we brought that) and 2 drinking bottles with curved straws ( Misty had brought those!) We had a good time but missed the rest of our family. Next year it's our turn so we are in charge of doing the quilt! I panicked, for good reason, since I know little or nothing about making quilts. Marcie and Devan came to the rescue and said they'd make it. Thank you! Thank you to talented family!
