Well, it's been about a month since I first started so maybe this will be a monthly post! Mandy's been gone 2weeks and a day but who's counting! I'm going to see them on Haylie's birthday on March 20th so only about a month to go. We went to Marin's husband's brother's homecoming last Sun. the 17th and it was great! If I had another daughter I'd line her up with Archie. He's such a cutie! We took Misty's 2 younger boys and Mike and Marcie took McKy and Mason the 2 older ones since they had stayed overnight with their cousins Austin and Devan the night before. Misty and Dan had a long overdue week-end at the Homestead for Dan's birthday Fri the 15th. I overheard Archie tell one of his friends at the house afterward that he didn't know some of these people. He figured they were part of Marin's family since his brother JR had married into a big family! I didn't think our family was so big since Mandy's and Misty's inlaws have much bigger ones. I suppose it's because Marin is the youngest of the family and has 10 nieces and nephews and JR is the oldest and there are no grandkids yet since Jr is the only one married so far. Anyway I was pleased to see our family so well represented even though Misty and Dan and Mandy's family weren't there. I'm looking forward to St Pat's Day!! Not only am I part Irish and love this day but it indicates that spring is right around the corner and I don't do well in winter. I have such an aversion to cold!! Until later....Last touch!! Pat

Well, this is a first!
Ok Mandy, You started this! Because you're leaving I agree that this is a good idea, but it sure feels weird. I really know that this move is right for you but that doesn't mean I have to like it! I'll try to keep the family's updates current and hope the others will come on board(online,I mean!)Marin and JR will be leaving for Seattle in the spring. Now, as much as I love teaching and tutoring, I wish I had time off to drive with Garn to Texas to help Mandy and the fam move! Guess I'll just have to save for the flight! Hopefully in the spring I'll be off and can help drive Marin and JR up to Seattle.
