MCKY'S EAGLE COURT OF HONOR
Last night Misty's oldest boy McKy received his Eagle rank in boy scouts. His cousins (Mike's boys) Austin and Devan were there. They received their eagles about 18 mos. previously. It was so great to see those three all dressed with all their badges. A wonderful night. Garn gave McKy a bronze eagle statue as he did for Austin and Devan. It's a beautiful reminder of their achievement.
On Wed. Mike, Marcie, Austin and Devan will drive to Marin and JR's house in Kirtland, Wash. It takes about 12 hrs. It'll be great for them to share Thanksgiving together. We'll be heading to Misty and Dan's. We're doing ham, mashed potatoes, corn, veggie tray, pies, whipped cream, stuffing, and drinks. Misty and Dan are doing turkey, gravy, cranberry salad, chutney, yams, rolls, and pies. Hope we have enough to eat!!

Another one bites the dust...........
One of my students at Riverview has the Swine Flu. There are so many out with it. The speech teacher with whom I share a supply room is back at work but has to have inhalation therapy every 4 hours still. She also got Bronchitis but said Tamiflu saved her.
I had shrimp for lunch yesterday around 1:30. I hadn't eaten anything since the night before, which isn't unusual, but I got really sick and spent the next few hours in the bathroom. I had my traveling league racquetball match last night so I was praying I would make it through. Luckily, I was able to play and made it home ok. I'm tired and shakey today but my stomach is ok. Course I haven't eaten yet, so who knows what will happen. I'm just grateful I was able to win the match in 2 games and didn't have to go to a tie breaker. Prayer works!
