DEER HUNTING SEASON........

Last Sat Garn got a deer. He gave it to Mike's friend Bill. Yesterday Mike got one. I'm not into venison and if I want jerky I just go to Costco and can get a big bag! Glad my guys got theirs, though.

Just got back from Regional Church Broadcast

It was soo good! It was great going with Misty and the boys. Dan stayed home with Merrick who is sick and he went Sat to the Priesthood Lrdshp. President Monson's talk was so inspirational, as always. Mcky and I picked out phrases from the talks and tried to guess what each other had chosen by hangman method. He got all of mine. He's so quick!

PAT'S GOT HER GROOVE BACK!

After, laying off exercising most of the summer and getting over that respiratory virus, I finally feel like I have some energy back! Last night I umped a game and then played 2 singles r-ball games which I won and then played 3 doubles r-ball games which we won. I got to sleep about midnight and this morning I was back on the court playing a guy whom I beat 31-21. It seemed to take forever to get back into shape after a l o n g summer off. It's amazing how quickly the body gets OUT of shape and how long it takes to get back INTO shape!

Here's hoping I'll keep it up!

Garn's off to deer hunting today and tomorrow I'm off to Misty's to sleep over and go to their Stake Center for the broadcast of their Regional Conference on Sun. I have the same Conf but our Stake's not broadcasting it so we'd have to go downtown for it. Since Garn will be off deer hunting I'd have to go down there alone. It's much easier (and funner) to stay at Misty's overnight and go with them!

SAME OLD.....NOT MUCH NEW..........

Yesterday I played 4 games of R-ball and then umped 2 softball games that night in the cold!

Tomorrow night I'm umping and then playing R-ball for my traveling league. I'm still sore and cold from yesterday! At least it's exercise and I do love to do both, just not in the same day.

Today I got to go to the temple with Misty to do initiatory at the Oquirrh Mtn. Temple and out to lunch. That was a nice break! I guess I like same old, same old.

WHATEVER IT IS, I WISH IT WOULD GO AWAY!

Got a bad cough that kills my chest everytime I cough and it hurts even to take a big breath. I ache all over and am extremely tired. Thank goodness I have today off and this week-end I can just sit and watch Conference. Last night I umpired in 50 degree weather and then had to rush to my travelling league R-ball match. The girl was about 19 yrs. old. I beat her in the first game 15-10. She beat me in the 2nd 15-13 and it was 11-8 in the tie breaker which I lost. All together we each scored 36 points but she took the match. I was so achey when I got home. I took a warm shower and watched the recording of Survivor and CSI Las Vegas with Garn. Glad to see Ben gone. Now Russel has to go. Is Sarah going to be a regular on CSI?
