Thank you Marin for telling me how to rotate the pictures!!

Haylie at the Muppet exhibit in Seattle. She's getting ready to have her muppet perform to a song at the piano.

Haylie standing on the doorstep of Sesame Street. A huge
3 story tower of instuments at the Jimmey Hendrix exhibit in a huge building that houses the Muppet's exhibit and many others.
The Space Needle the right way!

More Seattle.......

Haylie pointing out the Space Needle. Tried to rotate the pic. but no such luck

The Troll under the bridge on Troll Ave. in Seattle. Haylie's climbing on the right

OUR WEEK IN SEATTLE

At the locks in Seattle watching the boats go through

At the famous Pike's Place Market where we bought souvenirs

Haylie was not sure she wanted to stand next to the Monk Fish at the market but was brave!

We finally found a letterbox after searching in vain at another location

Haylie was chased by a big St Bernard before finding the letterbox and I think she was still scared! Boy can that girl run!

And so it goes...

Today is Haylie's last Sat in Utah so we're going to her favorite place: Gardner Village! She just loves to shop there!

The antibiotics hurt my stomach. 3 a day is 2 too many! Mon we leave for Seattle where apparently it's hotter than here! Glad we're in the basement of Marin and Jr's house!

THE DR. SAYS.....

It's squamous cell skin cancer. I had a small lump removed Tue. and a large one Wed. which left a small crator in my leg. I guess they take so much to get all the surrounding cells but trying to pull the sides of the crator together after was interesting. He went pretty far beneath too. I wanted to watch. The DR said I could until I passed out. I told him I don't pass out. It was ok til he started cauterizing the hole. It's interesting how they did it. He wore extra thick gloves and had a large pair of tweezers which the nurse touched with an electrically charged probe which sent a spark down the tweezers to burn the tissue. Can't say as I enjoyed it but it was educational. He said the gloves were so that he didn't get electrocuted. It wasn't as painful as when my orthopedic Dr. cut out blood clots in my leg from a softball line drive that took my leg out from under me and caused blood poisoning. I watched that surgery too but my leg started shaking toward the end because he was close to the bone and that part was NOT numb! So he left a drain in and just closed up the leg. It also happened to be on that same leg. Can't afford any more flesh taken out of that leg! This time my leg didn't shake and I didn't feel the pain. He didn't go to the bone either. I took 4 antibiotics 2 hrs before surgery yesterday and will take 3 a day for 10 days. He wants to be sure nothing gets infected because I leave on Mon for Seattle for a week then on to Dallas for another week. I'm such a jet setter! I'll be back on Fri Aug 14th and will see him to take out the stitches on Mon. No more water parks for a while! Anyway the biopsies on both lumps will be in Wed. so I'll call in then. The Dr doesn't think the smaller lump is cancer. He said it would be really rare to have 2 lumps that close together and at different stages in growth to be cancerous. Besides, the smaller one didn't have any of the characteristics of the larger one.

On to more exciting news. Sadie won a hula hoop contest on July 4th in Murray Park and received 2 tickets to Nunsense at the outdoor amphitheater. Since she's back home and Haylie is still here we're going tonight. Should be fun!

RAGING WATERS....AGAIN!

We went again yesterday and had a great time! Misty, Dan and boys, Austin, Devan, Haylie and I. I caught my hand in the hand grip when my tube flew out from underneath me almost taking my fingers and knuckles with it, so now I have pulled tendons in my right hand and a very swollen and sore knuckle! It was still fun! Dan went on the same ride as I did next and got flipped also but hit his head pretty hard on the side of the ride and had a headache the rest of the day. We all had a lot of fun even though some of the rides were out to get us!

Tomorrow is Marcus' birthday and we're off to JUMP ON IT in Lindon for his party. Should be fun. I'll let you know....I'm just a driver!
